New Year Day (Public Holiday/ Bank Holiday)

1987 The first "Lord Mayor of Westminster's Big Parade", as it was then known, took place on that day. London had never seen anything quite like it. The New Year’s Day Parade in London starts as Big Ben strikes 12 Noon.
